Fungal adventures! Though, don't eat this one...
More fungi!! So nice!!
But a small update for you:
My weekend was pretty nice. I went out for dinner at a Greek restaurant with Graham on friday. We had lots and lots of halloumi and it was just great. We also went dancing to a funk band playing at Press Club in the Valley. It was really good. Would highly recommend, 10/10! I hung out with Cameron and two really sweet German girls from Saturday until Sunday. It was good and we went for a swim in Cedar Creeks. Go there if you have not! The water is cool, but it is very beautiful.
The stamina of the horses is progressing good. The only problem is the rain that pours down on the track and ruins it. We are trying to work our way around it though. We might start another horse into work too. I would be happy to get one more to cuddle and ride! Soon we will start with some fast work too. I am truely looking forward to that, I would very much like a little bit of adrenaline in my body.
And I am going to go to NZ to hang out with Pontus for about a week in May. I hope I won't freeze too much. But I'll figure it out somehow :) I will fly to Christchurch and then somehow get to the west coast, Westport where we will go for a week long hike. I am so excited!
Apart from that, dancing plans? Yah, in middle of June there is a Winter Swing in Tasmania that I might go to.. And there is the Melbourne Swing Festival that is in the beginning of June. I am contemplating on wether or not I should go to both/any/volunteer to any of them if possible.. It is hard to know what to do. And Easter is about to come, there will be bbqz for me to enjoy! So excited! And dinosaur exhibits! And maybe the David Lynch exhibition too.. And I would need a new pair of jeans, since I brought no proper pants with me. (Who knew it would get chilly here?), maybe a new sweater too, and some underwear and socks. Ugh. I hate having to go shopping. #firstworldproblem
Other first world problems in Australia: incredibly hard to find different types of flour. Rye flour is nowhere to be found. And all other kinds which we have in Sweden, all unheard of! And beans.. Oh my god, black beans. Who would've known it could be so incredibly hard to get a hold on them? And crème fraiche. No one ever heard of that.. Which is so strange considering how often we use it in Sweden. Though I wish I could find smetana, since it is my all time fav.. Makes wonders to all kinds of dishes.
Love and hugs from under the duvet
