From coast to coast

So, I am thinking lots and lots of where I should go to be able to apply for a new visa (right now I am here on a tourist visa, which allows a stay for 3 months, two more to go from today, but it does not allow for me to earn any salary. And when you apply for the new visa, a working holiday visa for me, you have to be abroad from Australia..).

 

So I have some options.. Should I go to Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Solomon Isles, Fiji, New Zeeland.. Heck do I know. I want to see something amazing, feel amazing, be able to live a decent life with some drinks and good food that is not too expensive. I need some internet (since I somehow have to apply for the visa online). I want to go somewhere where I can meet some sweet people and maybe mount a mountain in the hazy dawn. I want to go somewhere I won't freeze. Two mornings in a row I have been freezing quite a bit when getting to work. It has been about 19°C. (I know, it is so silly, how did I become a true australian?) Anyhoo.. Anyone has any thoughts on the matter? Any ideas?

 

So: I want to go somewhere, if possible with direct flight, not too expensive, to a place that is not too cold, and with some mountains and sweet nature, that is not too expensive - and that could offer me good food..

Dubai, UAE (hahah, well, why not go there for real and not for waaay too long transit sessions?)

Guangzhou, China (And maybe actually board the flight to this destination?)

Luganville, Vanuatu (Considering the tropical storm last week, this might not be a good option.. I grieve with you.)

Nadi, Fiji

Norfolk Island (seems to be part of Australia though, so probably not really an option.)

Nouméa, New Caledonia

Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

Queenstown, NZ

Seoul, South Korea

Singapore

Taipei, Taiwan

Vila, Vanuatu (as mentioned above, not really an option)

Wellington, NZ

 

So.. Any thoughts? Right now I just don't know. I have a friend, Pontus, that is staying in NZ on the southern island when I would go there, but it would be sooo cold and I have no clothes with me for cold winds. (And I am not in the mood to buy any either, I have a whole closet of them back in Sweden.. Even though I gave half of it away in an attempt to minimize my possessions before I headed to the other side of the globe.)
